Over 15 years ago, the Wildretter project at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen offered him the opportunity to pursue this passion professionally. <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-fcacf90\" id=\"vom-sensor-am-mahwerk-zum-smarten-drohnensystem\" data-block-id=\"fcacf90\"><style>.stk-fcacf90 {margin-bottom:0px !important;}<\/style><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">From the sensor on the mower to the smart drone system<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-be370df\" data-block-id=\"be370df\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">After initial experiments with sensors on the mower, the &#8220;Flying Wildlife Rescuer&#8221; was developed from 2010 onwards. So in 2020, Martin Israel, together with Tobias Dahms, took the step from scientist to company founder. This resulted in <em>thermal DRONES<\/em>: a project that from the beginning was more than just technology sales &#8211; a mission to efficiently and effectively protect wild animals together with like-minded people.  <\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-a5a6c1f\" id=\"entwicklung-mit-den-kundinnen-und-kunden\" data-block-id=\"a5a6c1f\"><style>.stk-a5a6c1f {margin-bottom:0px !important;}<\/style><h3 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Development with customers<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-d728fa2\" data-block-id=\"d728fa2\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The founders&#8217; idea was to finance further development through the sale of drones and to develop a system together with customers that can detect and rescue fawns, field hares and ground breeders on all agricultural land.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-f3e0543\" data-block-id=\"f3e0543\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The <strong>POISuite<\/strong> has emerged from the original system: a comprehensive software solution for DJI Enterprise drones.
