Navigate to locations and perform location-based tasks with the POIApp!

Our app simplifies the entire organization. The ground teams who secure the fawns in the field can individually visit the locations identified in the recently scanned meadows. The app shows on the map who is currently approaching which fawn. Once at the location, users confirm whether it was actually a fawn or just a molehill. This ensures that each location is visited only once, and simultaneously trains our AI, which will replace manual evaluation in the future. A great side effect is the automatically generated discovery statistics. Users immediately have an overview of how many fawns have been rescued so far.

A comment function for each POI also enables quick and direct information exchange during the search and contributes to the development of automatic detection.

Furthermore, farmers can enter their meadows and mowing dates themselves via the app and immediately track whether the meadow is already free of fawns and can be mowed.

The new POIApp is a further development of the well-known and proven Wildlife Rescuer App. It enables an even more efficient and precise search for fawns and other wildlife in the field, as well as the usual simple coordination of search teams, ensuring collaboration among multiple teams – directly from a smartphone. Areas and tasks can also be planned and managed on a computer.

The POIApp is part of the POISuite and can be used in conjunction with the applications POIStudio and POIConnect. After successful installation and subsequent registration, the search can start immediately: simply join the appropriate search team, select one of the previously uploaded POIs, and navigate with meter-level accuracy to the next fawn.
