Features

The POIConnect function in combination with POICloud is the latest cloud-based solution from thermal DRONES, which achieves an unprecedented connection between drone and search team, making the search for wildlife even more efficient than ever before.

Areas to be flown can also be created as a task by the farmer in the POIApp application and then transferred directly to the remote control of the respective drone via the POICloud. Here, a flight route is created from the marked area with the corresponding parameters and the flight can begin.

If initial finds are made during the flight, they can be marked directly on the remote control using EasyPOI. Since this happens in real time, the search team can immediately see when there are new finds and approach and verify them directly via the POIApp mobile application. Navigation is similar to the well-known thermal DRONES Wildretter app, which can also be used in combination with POICloud.

If wild animals, such as fawns, have not been found at the marked point, this can be communicated directly to the drone pilot using the comment function in the app. This message then appears – also in real time – on the drone’s smart controller, so that the point can be approached again if necessary. In this way, the simple operation that you know from the LiveView method is combined with the efficiency of the georeference method in one product in the best possible way.
