How many meadows a team can cover depends not only on the drone, but on whether jobs are agreed, teams assigned and find locations passed on to the helpers. Admins, pilots and helpers work with an account. Farmers use their contact link, guests a time-limited guest link. That way hunters, helpers or authorities can take part without registering.

Artificial intelligence for wildlife rescue
Detecting wildlife automatically: that has been possible with POIStudio since 2021 and with our free onboard AI since 2026. Fully automatic search has always been the goal of our development. We pursue it responsibly, because wildlife matters more to us than marketing.
What POICloud does not replace
The thermal image shows what is warm. Whether it is a fawn is decided by a person on site. POICloud documents what was flown and found, but it does not guarantee a meadow free of animals. Which drones can be connected is listed under Which drone is compatible with POICloud?
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about fawn rescue with POICloud
Our helpers don't have an account. Can they still take part?
Yes. A guest link is enough. It is time-limited and needs no registration. Anyone who helps more often becomes a team member and uses the POIApp.
There is no network at the edge of the field. What then?
In future, jobs and finds can also be edited without a network. POICloud will then transmit the changes as soon as there is reception again. The map and live image do need internet, though. For areas with poor reception we look for solutions together with you.
Will the farmers go along with it?
They only need the link you send them by email or WhatsApp. They draw their field themselves or have it detected with one click. Experience from recent years: many farmers are happy to enter their fields themselves, which saves fawn rescuers a lot of work.
What does POICloud cost?
A POICloud account and the POIApp are free, so you can use POICloud free of charge. You buy POIConnect for your drone and POIStudio for evaluation on the PC once, as a license. If you buy a DJI Enterprise drone from us, both are included permanently at no cost. Prices are listed under Pricing and licenses.
What happens to our recordings?
You decide. Automatic upload of images and use for AI are two separate switches.
